William “Bill” Brown, 54, of 48 Adams Park, died on Friday, November 2, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 17, 1958 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a son of the late Fred L. and Maureen Loretta (Thibodeau) Brown.
Bill was a graduate of Portsmouth High School, Class of 1976 and served his country in the United States Coast Guard.
For over 12 years, Bill owned and operated “Bustah Brown Landscapes” providing service to the Seacoast Area. He also was employed for the Town of Rye Transfer Station.
Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and passing down that knowledge and appreciation for the outdoors. He also loved playing music on his guitar and harmonica; but ultimately his family and grandchildren were the most important to him.
Survivors include his wife, Amy (Roper) Brown of Rye; his children, Holly Brown of Portsmouth, Tanya Brown of Malden, MA, Jacob Brown of Portsmouth, and Tyler Lunday of Rye; five grandchildren, Kiarra Brown, Shon Parham, Derrick Parham, Malu Francisco, and Ava Skye Lunday; six siblings, Lyman Thibodeau, James Ronald Brown, Rhonda Scully, Julie Barnaby, Lori Lavigne, and Janet Woods; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held from 11 am – 2pm & 4 – 7pm on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home – Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad Street, Portsmouth. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be celebrated at 2pm on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 444, 1163 Sagamore Ave., Portsmouth. Friends invited.
