Portsmouth – Jon Becker, 61, of Portsmouth, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, January 11, 2013.

He was born on March 16, 1951 in Rahway, New Jersey, a son of Alexander and Edna Becker.

Jon is survived by his son, Merritt Burrus of Miami, FL; his brother, Peter Becker of Kill Devil Hills, NC; and sisters, Susan B. Alejos of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Penni Jean Reid of Rochester, VT.

There will be a graveside service at 2:00PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Calvary Cemetery, RT 33/Greenland Road, Portsmouth. Friends invited. There will be a reception following the service at Jon’s former residence at: 898 Greenland Road, Portsmouth.
