FOOD DRIVE

Thank you to everyone who stopped by on Saturday, November 6th to help us stock the shelves for the upcoming holidays. Gather was very thankful for all the donations and financial contributions.

TRICK OR TREAT - HALLOWEEN 2021

We had a great turnout this year...was so nice to see all the kids from the surrounding communities back out in full force. Handed out over 725 candy bars.

Thank you again to our witches Lori and Deb. They come back every year to help us place a smile on the faces of these kids. Also to our new witch this year, Rebecca.

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR.

2020 Trick or Treat

In continuing with our annual tradition...we were able to safely distribute the candy bars to the Portsmouth Community. It was wonderful to see families able to enjoy this time with their children. Our close neighbors and the surrounding neighborhood shared in the festivities and we are so elated to be a part of it.

See you next year!!

2nd Annual Blood Drive in support of the American Red Cross

What a wonderful turnout we had. 32 spots were filled. A big shout out to our new friend, John Maher, who stopped by and volunteered at the registration desk....THANK YOU, John.

2nd Annual Blood Drive

In support of the Red Cross and the seacoast communities in need of blood we have scheduled our second blood drive for October 7th, 2020 from 9:00-2:00 PM at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home located at 84 Broad Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Plenty of spots still open to pre-register. Thank you in advance.

Next Stop

In continuing efforts of our Caring for the Community Program we recently dropped off 200 face masks to be used by all the great people that volunteer or work at Gather, a local food bank that has been helping seacoast residents facing hunger for over 200 years. Stayed tuned to see where we turn up next.

WOW....What an incredible response from our surrounding communities. Week five Gather food drive was held on Saturday from 9am - 2pm. We had our wonderful neighbors and their kids walking over items and financial contributions; many veterans stopping by to drop off items; St Andrew's Masonic Lodge in Portsmouth stopped by; people from Portsmouth, Greenland, Rye, New Castle, Stratham and our neighbors across the bridge in Kittery, Maine. Our community is so blessed to have so many generous people......Thank you to everyone.

WEEK FIVE

Week five we will be doing something a little different. On Saturday May 16th from 9am - 2pm we will be having a food drive to assist our local Portsmouth/Seacoast food pantry GATHER, who are in immediate need of essentials for families during this most difficult time. We will be set up in our parking lot for cars to pull in and drop off curbside at our tent.

Items can include, but not limited to: non-perishable foods, soaps, cleaners and we will also be accepting financial contributions (donations can be by check to: Gather.  Tax id is 02-0226943).

WEEK FOUR

Week four brought us to a little treasure of a place on Main Street in New Castle. Henry's Market Cafe offers breakfast and lunch in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

After purchasing gift cards from Henry's, we headed across the street to the New Castle Police Department and Fire Department and presented the cards to these dedicated professionals. A big thank you to them for keeping the residents of New Castle safe everyday, especially during these trying times.

WEEK THREE

Week three brought us to LongHorn Steakhouse in Newington.

Today we stopped by the Newington Fire Department and Newington Police Department to present to them gift cards to LongHorn Steakhouse. The Town of Newington residents are lucky to have such dedicated professionals. A big thank you to both departments including all their supporting staff.

WEEK TWO

Week two brought us to the Bratskellar, Jardiniere Flowers and Five Guys.
Our first stop was at the Portsmouth City Hall where we were able to show our appreciation to Kelly, Val and Kim in the City Clerks Office with a Jardiniere Flower "Goodie Basket". These individuals are there for us and the families we serve on a daily basis even during this difficult time. A big shout out to all of you. Thank you.

Our second stop was at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital where we dropped off gift cards for the Bratskellar and Five Guys for the Emergency Department and the supporting staff. These frontline workers have the first point of contact with the people coming into the hospital. Thank you for your caring, compassionate and professional service you provide everyday for our community.

Lets see how many shares we can get to show the support for our community.

WEEK ONE

As we initiate our “Caring For Our Community Program” Tom & Darryl visited the Portsmouth Police Department and the Portsmouth Fire Department on Saturday and presented 20 gift cards from Moe's Italian Sandwiches and 20 gift cards from The Works Bakery Cafe. This is in an effort to support our local businesses during these very difficult times and to show our appreciation to our First Responders and Frontline Workers.

Stay-tuned to see where we go next week!
